Production in Black Inc. (P.I.B.) is a black women-led nonprofit dedicated to expanding access, opportunity, and creative power within the film and production industry. We build pathways for emerging storytellers of all backgrounds through training, community, and hands-on experience—while intentionally centering the voices, leadership, and creative journeys of Black women behind the lens.
In an industry where marginalized creators often face limited visibility, financial barriers, and a lack of support, P.I.B. provides the infrastructure needed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity. Our work is rooted in community, cultural relevance, and the belief that storytelling is both art and liberation.
Our signature docuseries, Production in Black, captures the real journey from script to screen, spotlighting Black women creators and preserving their process as part of our cultural archive.
